Notice for Prequalification Submission of Tender Documents

1. National Highway Authority (NHA) intends to execute following road Work on N-75. Islamabad Muzaffarabad Dual Carriageway (I MDCW).

2. NHA invites Pre-Qualification of Firm (s) for above mentioned work. All interested parties are requested to submit following documents for Prequalification of the subject work:
• Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-3 or above for the year 2013 having Specialization Code CE-01 & CE-10. Joint Venture of C-3 firm with C-4 is also admissible. • No Litigation Certificate on Judicial Stamp Paper. • Financial Competence documentation which must include a) Balance Sheet for Last Three (03) years b) Cash Flow of more than Rs. 50 Million c) Average Annual Turn Over of atleast Rs. 50 Million. d) Average Net Worth and networking Capital of atleast Rs. 40 Million. • Contractor to provide list of equipment on Judicial Stamp Paper owned by the firm which must include following : a) Concrete Mixer b) Steel Cutter c) Steel Shuttering If later on it was found that Contractor does not own any equipment NHA has the right to disqualify Contractor from work and terminate the Contract.
• Company Profile which should include Registration of the Firm under Company Act. Registration with other agencies.
• List of Technical Staff with CVs & Undertaking that following staff will be available for execution of the project.
a) Highway Engineer b) Quantity Surveyor c) Surveyor
Civil Engineer with atleast 1 0 years experience DAE Civil with atleast 10 years experience DAE Civil with atleast 10 years experience
• Documentation of Road works completed during last Five (05) years with atleast Two (02) works of more than Rs. 50 Million must be executed. Letter of Award & Completion Certificate are must to be provided.
2. Prequalification documents along-with Sealed financial bid submission is to be made on the basis of information uploaded on NHA website {www.nha.gov.pk). Interested parties can download this document and the bid be submitted along-with Pre-Qualification documents on time and venue as mentioned below: • On or before 30th January. 2014 at 1100 Hours in NHA Auditorium NHA HQ, Islamabad.
3. Bids of the firms will be sealed immediately by the Committee in the presence of the participating bidders/authorized representatives. After conducting Pm-qualification evaluation. the pre-qualified firms shall be informed in writing for opening of their bids while bids of unqualified firms shall be returned unopened. 4. The Firms providing unsubstantiated and/or incorrect information are liable to legal action and disqualification. 6. National Highway Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all APPLICATIONS as per PPRA Rules 2004 (as amended in 2006)
