LAHORE RING ROAD AUTHORITY
NOTICE FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS
1. Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) intends to Pre-Qualify Contractors for the following works separately, herein after called the works: i) Improvement / Rehabilitation of Sunder-Raiwind Road, District Lahore (L:10.66 KM) ii) Improvement I Rehabilitation of Manga-Raiwind Road, District Lahore (L:12 KM) 2. It is anticipated that the works are expected to commence in last week of Feb. 2014 and each will be completed within 4 months. 3. Estimated cost of the works is around PKR 800 Million each. Major items of work involved are earth embankment, Road Work, Culverts, Drainage, Weigh Stations and Ancillary Works etc. 4. Pre-Qualification is offered to the Contactors / Joint Ventures registered with Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2014 in required category and also enlisted / renewed at least in category C-B with Punjab C&W Department for the year 2013-14 in the field of Highways / Bridges. 5. Contractors interested in receiving Pre-Qualification documents can obtain the same on payment of Rs. 2,500/- from the office of Deputy Director Contracts, LRRA on any working day during office hours 6. The Pre-Qualification documents shall be completed in English language and shall be got received with acknowledgement from the Deputy Director Contracts, LRRA by 28-01-2014, 4:00 pm. 7. The Contractor / Firm pre-qualified will be informed in due course. The decision of the competent authority as to whether or not the applicant is eligible for tenders shall be final and binding. 8. Applicants will ensure that information being supplied is correct Pre-qualification of any contractor may be withdrawn at any time if significant errors or false information are found in the document(s) supplied by the contractor.
