Judicial Commission on  Bhoja Airline Crash
PUBLIC NOTICE
WHEREAS, in writ petition No. 257412012 relating to crash of Boeing 737-200 on 20'April 2012 in Hussainabad Islamabad, said to be owned and operated by M/s Bhoja Air, honourable Islamabad High Court has been pleased to constitute a two member Judicial Commission consisting of Mr. Justice Ghulam Rabbani, former Judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan and Mr. Faez Amir, AVM (rtd:). to determine the following questions and submit its report within a period of three months from the date of commencing the proceedings : 1. Whether issuance of license to Bhoja Air, corporate in Pakistan was in accordance with the requirements of law having required infrastructure and aircrafts; 2. Whether the cockpit crew of Bhoja Air flight No. B-213 had requisite professional qualification, experience and health to fly an aircraft; 3. Whether the aircraft of Bhoja Air Flight B-213 was grounded by airline, from which it was purchased and what was its air worthiness history, mileage and maintenance record; 4. What measures were taken by the authorities after the crash of flight; 5. Whether Black Box of flight after its recovery was kept by CDA for 24 hours, during which it was tampered or not; 6. What is the result of inquiries conducted by different departments, like Civil Aviation Authority (CM), Capital Development Authority (ODA), Bhoja Air itself. Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Manufacturers of Aircrafts, Insurance Companies, etc: 7. Responsibility of crash of Flight B-213, to be pasted and recommendations, safety measures and remedial steps to be taken to avoid any such sad incident in future may also be suggested. Attention is invited of all those persons/groups of persons who has/have any information materially helpful in the process of determination of the above questions/matters, to provide the same with covering letter duly signed, where-ever considered necessary to be stamped, to the undersigned personally or through registered post/courier service as soon as it could be possible within at least 10 clear days of publication at the address given below.
