NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed tenders on item rates / percentage above or below Market Rates System, with amendments up to the date of receipt of tenders are hereby invited, for the work mentioned below, from the Contractors / Firms enlisted with C&W Department, Chief Engineer (D.S&M) Punjab and Executive District Officer, (W&S), Narowal for the year 2013-14 in the field of Highways Works.  Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned against written request accompanied with attested copies of enlistment/up to date renewal letter and fee receipt, PEC License, in absence of actual contractor, the identity card of contractor/ Managing partner of the firm along with registered power of attorney and on payment of prescribed tender fee. Tendered rates and amount should be filled in figures as well as in words and tenders should be signed as per general direction's given in the tender documents. No rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable. Tender by post will not be accepted. . Tenders will be received in the office of the undersigned up to 01.00 P.M on the date of opening of tenders and will be opened immediately thereafter by the District tender board Narowal, in the presence of :ntending contractors or their representatives. The last date of issuance of tenders is 03-02-2014 tenders will be opened cy the District tender board on 06-02-2014 at 01.00 P.M in the office of undersigned. If the tender are not received on the above mentioned date, then the tenders will be issued 07-02-2014, received / opened on 11-02-2014, at 01.00 P.M in the office of the undersigned. Conditional tenders and tenders not accompanied with earnest money in shape of deposit at call receipt from scheduled Bank and attested copies of registered partne ship deed and power of attorney in case of firms will not be entertained.
In case of public holiday the sale and opening will be changed in the next working day.

(Note):  1. As per 26-A of contract agreement in case the total tendered amount is less then 5% of the approved estimated cost & (DNIT) amount, the lowest bidder will have to deposit additional performance security from the Scheduled Bank ranging from 5% to 10% within 14-days of issuance of notice.
