M.Sc. Coal Engineering Technology and Ph.D. in Energy Engineering T.
The University offers admissions to M.Sc. Coal Engineering Technology and Ph.D. in Energy Engineering Technology at its recently established "Centre for Energy Research & Development (CERAD)" at KSK Campus. Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission on full time basis only. All those who are employed need not provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer, moreover, teaching will take place during regular morning classes.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. (a) For M.Sc. in Coal Engineering Technology Only those candidates can apply who have passed PEC accredited undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power),Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Note: The engineering technology students will be required additional courses. (b) For Ph.D. in Energy Engineering Masters in Chemical,Mechanical, Electrical (Power),Mining Engineering or Coal Engineering Technology. General Ph.D. Criteria given by Higher Education Commission (HEC) on its website http://www.hec.edu.pk 2. The candidates must secure at least 3.0/4.0 CGPA under semester system. 3. The candidate should pass NTS GAT with at least 50% score OR will be appearing in the next NTS GAT test. 4. For Ph.D. candidates GAT Subjective test score should be at least 70 marks. The test will be conducted in CERAD KSK Campus.
ILLEGIBILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS
Application shall be filled online by logging on to http://admission.uet.pk. The printout of the filled application form with paid bank challan (printed with application) and completed as per instruction available in prospectus shall be submitted to CERAD KSK Campus from 30-01-2014 to 08-02-2014 during working hours. Incomplete application shall not be entertained. Application processing fee of Rs.8001- is to be deposited in account number 0128000553303 with HBL through bank challan available with the printout of the application.
