The University of Sindh is the oldest Public University of Pakistan established in April, 1947. It is situated near Indus River City ofJamshoro with 08 Campuses throughout Sindh - Hyderabad, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Dadu, Thatta, Lai kana, Bhitshah & Sukkur. There are 25000 students, 54 full fledged Teaching Departments / Institutes / Centers including three Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistiy, Pakistan Study Centre and Centre Far East & South East Asia Study. The Faculty of Education Hyderabad is situated in the City of Hyderabad known as Elsa Kazi Campus, University of Sindh. Faculty of Education Hyderabad being the first teaching department of the University established in 1954, serving both urban and rural areas of the province. The founder and first Dean of the Department of Educaiton was international Scholar Late Dr. N.A. Baloch. Now, the Faculty of Education is going to offer more facilities as its multistory and fully furnished building funded by US-AID is near completion. There will be addition of new classrooms, lecture halls, new library with collection of new and latest books and Wi-Fi Internet system for the facilitation of aspirant students of the pi ovince. The programs offered by the Faculty of Educaiton include B.Ed. M.Ed (one year) and M.A. Education (two years) (Morning / Evening) and B.Ed. (Hans) Elementary 4-year program and M.Phil I Ph.D. Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed, M.A. Education Morning & Evening and BEd. The Merit List of Admissions will be issued on 4. The fees will be paid in Habib Bank Ltd. ( Old Campus Branch, Hyderabad) 5. Date for deposition of admission fees 13-01-2014 to 15-01-2014 6.
