PRE-QUALIFICATION NOTICE FOR CONTRACTORS/FIRMS (Civil/Electrical/Furniture)
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), having offices in all major cities of country, invites applications for the purpose of pre-qualification of the contractors from the interested and technically capable parties with at least 10 years experience of work at major cities (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad & Gujranwala). Scope of services shall cover Civil/Electrical/PI u mberin g/Furniture Work.
The pre-qualification for successful parties will be for duration of up to five years depending upon the performance. Mandatory Conditions: 1. Contractor/Firm should be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant category and engineering discipline supported by PEC valid registration certificate. 2. Complete profile with supported documents. 3. Details of projects completed during the last 5 years along with the satisfactory/completion certificate from the client 4. Details of projects in hand indicating name of the client, consultant and the scope of work. 5. Contractors should be registered with Income Tax Department have National Tax Number (NTN), and also registered with General Sales Tax (GST) Department, where applicable. 6. Affidavit to the effect that the Firm is not involved in any litigation with any department in the past and present. 7. Affidavit on stamp paper properly attested submitted by the Contractor/Firm that the statement referred above is correct and nothing has been concealed intentionally. Contractors/Firms meeting above conditions may apply with cover letterhead. Applications complete in all respect may be sent to the address mentioned below on or before December 28, 2013 with Pre-Qualification of Contractors (Civil/Electrical/Furniture), Company's name and City name clearly marked on the envelope. Any information provided found false, materially inaccurate, or incomplete application will result in disqualification. A Pay Order of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable) in favour of"The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan" must accompany the applications. ICAP reserve the rights to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof. Those contractors who are already pre-qualified and have worked with ICAP should apply afresh. Separate envelope/application should be submitted for each city.
