INVITATION TO BID FOR HEALTH INSURANCE
Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP) intends to provide Health Insurance to 500 the poorest households heads falling under National Poverty Score Card band 0-11 in Project Districts i.e. Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur. Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP) Request for Proposals (RIP) from leading Insurance Companies who are eligible under the criteria given below. i. Copy of Registration with Securities & Exchange Commission or Registrar of Firms. Copy of Registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department. iii. Minimum AA rated companies by Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (PACRA)/JCR. iv. 03 years audited financial statements. 2. The insurance company will be selected by following "Single Stage - Two Envelopes" procedure in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2009. 3. RIP documents can be obtained from the office of under-signed, on payment of a price of Rs.200/- in the form of Pay Order/ Demand Draft in favor of Project Director (SPPAP). 4. A bid security not exceeding five percent of the bid price shall be provided with the Bid in the form of a call deposit from any scheduled bank in favor of Project Director, SPPAP. 5. Technical and Financial proposals should be submitted in separate envelopes with the fact being clearly marked on each. Financial proposals of only technically qualified Bids will be opened. 6. The sealed Bid should reach office of the under signed at following address on or before 06-01-2014 at 10:00 Hours. Bid shall be opened on the same date at 10:30 Hours in presence of the interested bidders or their authorized rep-resentatives having authority letter, from the Bid signing authority. 8. Incomplete Bids shall not be entertained. 9. Project Director, Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP) reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all Bids prior to acceptance. 10. Bid notice has also been posted on to PPRA Website (http//www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk)
