NOTICE INVITING TENDERS
1. Tenders are invited from reputed Contractors / Firms registered with PEC having sufficient experience in the related field against work mentioned hereunder:
Name of Work Earnest Money Tender fee by pay order Contract Period , Tender submission & opening date Tender N 94 Enhancement of Pumping capacity at PQA Water Works, 2% of the bid price in shape of Pay Order / Bank Guarantee in favour of POA to be enclosed with tender forms Rs. 5001- 06 Months 06-01-2014
2. Interested firms are required to contact Director (M&E), Port Qasim Authority during office hours for obtaining tender document on any working day during office hours up to 2nd January, 2014. by furnishing the copy of: a. Registration with PEC in the category C-6 & above with code ME-06/CE-09 valid upto December. 2013. 3. Complete Tenders Documents/Forms duty filled in along with attachments in a sealed envelope containing two separate envelopes (i.e. Technical and Financial proposals) along with 2% earnest money of bid price financial proposal shall be surnitted in the office of Director (M&E) by 1200 hours on the dale indicated above.
4. The Technical proposals will be opened at 1230 hours on the date as indicated above in presence of the representative of the bidders who may wish to attend. 5. In case of holiday on the date of submission/opening of tender, the same will be entertained on the next working day on same time
6 PPRA-2004 will be observed in the tender The advertisement is also available at PQA/PPRA website- www.ppra.org.pk.
. Financial proposals of technically qualified bidders / firms shall be opened in presence of their authorized representatives. The date and time for opening of financial proposals will be communicated later. However the technically not qualified company's Financial proposal shall be returned unattended. 8. The Port Qasim Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications/tenders as per PPRA-2004 and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. Authority's decision in this regard will be final.
