Pak. PWD invites applications for Pre-Qualification of Construction Firms for works of Civil, and Electrical I Mechanical works for Islamabad High Court Building at G-5, Islamabad from Reputed Construction Firms registered with Pakistan Engineer Council in relevant category or above. The firm may also have joint venture to extent to execute electrical works. HAVC, Life and infrastructure. The firm shall have experience for constructing three works of similar nature costing Rs.2000 millions during last five years. The firm may send their applications containing following relevant details:- 1. Full name ofthe firm, permanent address, telephone No. fax and e-mail address of head office and any branch office in Islamabad. 2. Organizational setup, constitution, Memorandum &Articles of Association / Registration Partnership Deed and the date of establishment of the firm etc, (including copies of relevant documents). 3. List of technical / non-techincal staff civil / electrical & Mechanical field employed by the firm with names, qualification and work experience having PEC valid registration. 4. List of Plants, equipment and other construction machinery owned by the firm with year of manufacture. Also provide the list of plant and equipment available for the work. 5. Copy of valid Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in category CB in relevant category. 6. copies of annual account reports for the last three years duly certified by the CharteredAccountant and Banks. 7. Proof of registration with the Income Tax Department (NTN Certificate) supported by copies of income tax return receipt and registration certificate. 8. Recent bank accountstatements in the name of firm (January to December 2013) and certificate offinancial stability from scheduled banks of Pakistan. 9. Enlistment record with Govt. organizations and otherAgencies. Also include an affidavit that the firm is not black listed by the Government, Semi-Government Department /Agency/ Organization. 10. List and brief details of arbitration / litigation / court cases, if any. in case of no such cases, enclose an affidavit that the firm has not been involved in any litigation / arbitration with any Government Departments. 11. copy of valid Electrical Contractor License in the name of firm /company renewed upto date for Islamabad region. 12. The detail of Internal & External electrical works carried out during the last five years. 13 Before applying the request or submission of brochures a printed book of standard procedure for pre-qulification of contractors may be collected from undersigned address at the cost of Rs1500/- non-refundable. 14. The Competent authority reserves the right to reject or accept any pre-qulification with assigning any reason. 15. The applications for Pre-Qualification should reach by hand or through registered mail] courier to the Executive Engineer, Project Civil DivisIon-Il, Pak, PWD Islamabad not later than 16/01/2014 upto 3:00 p.m. under no circumstances the "Employer" will be responsible for ate delivery or loss of the documents so mailed or sent by courier. 16. The request must clearly state "Application for pre-qulification Construction of Islamabad High Court Building at G-5, Islamabad, " The above mentioned office of the Executive Engineer can also be contracted if any clarification is required. 17. Applications of firms, black listed by any Government agency, will not be considered for pre-qulification. An affidavit prepared within the current month of the submission of pre-qulification to this effect will be provided by the applicant. 18. Only firms pre-qualified under this procedure will be invited to purchase bids documents. 19. The "Employer" reserves the right to reject applications beeing incomplete or received after closing date and time. The prequlification criteria of the firms based on the marking as approved by "PEC" procedure.
