Sealed tenders are invited by Lahore General Hospital, Lahore from financially sound, income tax / sales tax registered firms for the DISPOSAL OF INFECTIOUS WASTE: The detail of tender enquiry and terms & conditions will be received fill 11:00 am of 31-12-2013 in working hours which will be opened on the same day at 12:00 Noon in the presence of interested bidders. SINGLE STAGE:- As per PPRA Rule No.36 (b) "Single stage" -Two envelope procedure:- 10. The bid shall comprise a single package containing two separate envelopes. Each envelope shall contain separately the financial proposal and the technical proposal; 11. The envelopes shall be marked as "FINANCIAL PROPOSAL" AND "TECHNICAL; PROPOSAL" in bold and legible letters to avoid confusion; 12. Initially, only the envelope marks "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" shall be opened; 13. The envelop marked as FINANCIAL PROPOSAL" shall be retained in the custodyof the procuring agencywithout being opened. 14. The procuring agency shall evaluate the technical; proposal in a manner prescribed in advanced, without reference to price and reject any proposal which does no confirm to the specified requirement; 15. During the technical evaluation, no amendments in the technical proposal shall be permitted; 16. The financial proposals of bids shall be opened publicaly at a time, date and venueannouncedandcommunicatedtothebiddersin advanced. 17. After the evaluation and approval of the technical proposal, the procuring agency shall at time within the bid validity period, publicly open the financial proposal of the technically accepted bids only. The financial proposal of bids found technically non-responsive shall be retumed un-opened to the respective bidders. 18. The bid found to be the lowest evalated bid shall be accepted. Sealed bids are to be submitted in person up till at 11:00 AM in tender box as perscheduled given above. Procurement shall be govemed bythe Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA. Undersigned reserve the rights to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof which can not be challenged in any court of law. The tenders shall submit a deposit at call 2% of the total Value of the tender' the same of the Medical Superintendent, Lahore General Hospital, Lahore alor with the tender as per PPRA rules clause No.25. The authority reserved the right to incresed / decreased the quantit mentioned in the tenderenquiry. The firms are directed to quote their fi na I rates as no negotiation will be held. In case the date of opening or last date of sale and submission is declared as a public holiday by the Government or non-working day due to any reason, the next official working day shall be deemed to be the date of sale, submission and opening of tenders accordingly. The ti me and venue shall remain the same. The firm should submit the tenders/quotation with page marking.
