OPENING FOR LAW & CORPORATE AFFAIRS AT KARACHI STOCK EXCHANGE LTD.
The Karachi Stock Exchange Limited (KSE) is the Pakistan's largest and premier Stock Exchange. It provides a reliable, orderly, liquid and efficient marketplace for trading of listed securities. KSE functions under a regulatory framework and by virtue of demutualization; it has been converted to a public company limited by shares. The Law & Corporate Affairs Department of KSE is handling all matters involving legal issues. Besides advising on different legal matters arising from time to time, the Department is also handling litigations and corporate affairs matters. KSE is looking for dynamic vibrant, challenge loving and result oriented persons having excellent communication skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and wishing to work in a dynamic growing organization. We have Two (02) positions open at present. The required qualification, experience and other pre-requisites are described as below: FOR LITIGAnoN
The candidate should hold degree of LL.B., preferably LL.M. from any reputable institution. He/She must be enrolled and registered as an Advocate of High Court having at least three years' experience either as a practicing advocate associated with any renowned law firm dealing in corporate matters or as an in-house lawyer in a Company of repute. Know-how/experience of securities market will be an added advantage. The age of the candidate should not be over 40 years. FOR CORPORATE AFFAIRS
The candidate should at least be Commerce Graduate, preferably MBA from IBA or other reputed/HEC recognized university . He/She must have at least three years' experience in a listed company with exposure in corporate matters and fully conversant with relevant laws. Know-how/ experience of securities market will be an added advantage. The age of the candidate should not be over 35 years. The job offers market based competitive salary with other fringe benefits commensurate with qualification and experience.
