DISTRICT GOVERNMENT OKARA TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders based on item rates as per Market Rates System notified on website of Government of the Punjab Finance Department for the quarter concerned are hereby invited, for the works mentioned below, from the contractors/firms enlisted/renewed for the current financial year with C&W Department in the field of Highway Works and also enlisted/alowed by the EDO(W&S), Okara. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned/EDO(W&S), Okara against 2% earnest money in the shape of deposit call from Schedule Bank of Pakistan and written request on letter pad accompanied with attested copies of enlistment, upto date fee deposit with the district and registration of Pakistan Engineering Council/License Fee, authority letter (only in favour of member of firm will be accepted), Identity Card of the contractor/Managing partner of the firm alongwith registered power of attorney. The tender documents shall only be issued on payment of prescribed tender fee. The tender fee must be prepared in shape of CDR from any schedule Bank of Okara City. Without fulfillment of the above requirements tender shall not be issued. Tendered rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words and tenders should be signed as per general directions for the guidance of contractors given in the tender documents. No rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable. Tenders will be issued upto 16,01.2014 during working hours and will be received and thereafter opened on 18.01.2013 at 02:00 PM in the office of the EDO(W&S), Okara by the tender opening board in the presence of intending contractors or their authorized representatives. Conditional tenders shall not be entertained. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. The lowest bidder, who will quote the rates less than 5% of the approved estimated cost (DNIT) of the work, then shall have to deposit the additional performance security in accordance to the Govt. of Punjab C&W Department Notification No. SOB-I(C&W)2-37/9, dated. 29.12.1999. Failure to deposit additional performance security within 15-days from the date of approval of tender would result into forfeiture of earnest money (CDR) without further notice and tender shall stand cancelled automatically. Any information regarding the tenders mentioned below may be had from the Divisional Head Clerk/Divisional Head Draftsman during office hours. It is clarified that ender documents shall only be issued on production of original documents and photocopies shall not be acceptable.
