National Museum of Science & Technology Lahore Tender Notice

INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/TECHNICAL-FINANCIAL PROPOSALS
The Government of the Punjab, National Museum of Science and Technology is implementing a development scheme titled "Conduct of Science Fair at Provincial Level" in collaboration with Intel Pakistan for ISEF reflected at GSr. No. 2 in theDevelopment Programme 2013-14 with an aim to infuse in Science & Technology among students and teachers. The Science Fair is scheduled to be conducted at the Multipurpose Hall of Government Central Model High School, Ratigon Road, Lahore during November, 2013. The expected out comes for conduct of Science Fair at Provincial Level are as under, 1 - The estimated number of the participants (Teachers/ Students) in Provincial Science Fair will be around from 500-1000 in number. 2- Arrangments for opening and closing ceremony of the Fair. 3 - Arrangements for residence at 3 Star hotels, meals and pick/ drop facility for participants for 2-3 days from their residences ( to be arranged by the slected firm) in Lahore. 4 - Beautification of the Multipurpose Hall of Government Central Model High School., Ratigon Road, Lahore, with regard to Science & TEchnology slogans, banners, displaying concepts, pamphlets, leaflets, invitation cards, identity Cards etc. 5 - Arrangements for setting of stalls. work- Stations (complete in all aspects) for participating students in the above said Hall. For this National cause, The expression of Intersets (E01s) Technical/ financial Proposals are invited from the intersted Firms (NTN & Sale Tax Registered) to conduct Science Fair at Provincial level at the above said venue from 26 th to 28 th November, 2013 under the guidelines and instructions as envisaged in the PC-1 of the project. Technical/ Financial proposals (with the description of conduct of Fair) in this regard must be submitted during office hours in the office of the undersigned not later than 23 rd October, 2013 for evaluation under PPRA Rules. Per person/ per day cost must be quoted in the proposals for boarding and lodging arrangements for Fair and all other allied components in thes regard. Successful Firm shal be paid per person/ per day cost for the event, all tasex will be deducted as admissible under the PPRA Rules. Terms & Conditions for submission of proposals: 1 - Each bid shal comprose of one single envelope containing, two separate envelopes for financial proposal and technical proposal. "Financial Proposal" "Technical Proposal" being clearly written on the top left corner or the respective documents. 2- Technical proposals will be receieved on 22nd of October, 2013 by 11:00 a.m. These proposal will be reviewed by Tender Opening/ TEchnical Purchase Committee on the same day in the presence of Tenderers of their Authorized representative who wish to witness the tender opening. After the technical evaluation, the Financial Propsoals of only technically qualified companies shall be considered/ announced. 3 - The Financial Proposal shal be inclusive of all taxes and levies/ duties. 4 - The companies must be registered with Income Tax and Sales TAx Department. if pplicable (copy should be provided). 5- Proposals should strictly be arranged as per given in the technical proposal in tender documents. 6- The bid validity period shall be 90 days. 7- Incompleted or non- conforming proposals shall be rejected. 8 - No tender will be issued on the opening date and without 2 % earnest money in shape of deposit at call in favour of Director, National Museum of Science and Technology, lahore. 9- National Musem of Scicnce & Technology, School Education Department reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason. 10 - This Tender Notice has also been posted on PPRA's website. <http:/ppra.punjab.gov.pk> (RANA HASSAN AKHTAR KHAN) Director, National Museum of Science & Technology, School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, Adjacent Engineering University G.Road, lahore Ph: 042-99250252-99250253 IPL-9887
