PRE QUALIFICATION OF CONSULTING FIRMS
In view of the fire incidents in high-rise buildings, there is an urgent need to revisit Fire Safety Regulations and revise Building Bylaws. LDA Authorities intend to engage the services of the consulting firms for implementation of the fire safety measures at LDA Buildings and framing of Fire Safety Regulations for various types of buildings based on International Best Practices, Fire SOPs, Standardization of Equipments and drafting of Rules and Regulations. In addition to framing of Fire Safety Regulations for various types of buildings the terms of References for the consulting firms would include all related activities (if required after study) such as:-1. External Steel Staircases 2. Fire Doors 3. Hydrant System (Internal & External) 4. Installation of Fire Extinguishers of different types 5. Fire Alarm System and Control System 6. Clear Access and Removal of Obstructions 7. Evacuation Plan and Emergency Lighting System 8. Emergency Response Team's SOP etc 9. Smoke Management and Exhaust System etc 10. Any other appropriate recommendations Applications from interesting consulting firms are invited for their prequalification as mentioned above, having the following profile: • Certificate of Registration with PEC along with the latest renewal letter. • Copy of Registration with Securities & Exchanges Commission or Registration of Firms. • Copy of Registration with Income Tax department. • List of permanent professional staff along with CVs of relevant core staff showing project wise experience with exact time duration for each project. • List of similar works completed by the firm during last ten (10) years and similar works in hand, indicating total cost of such works and cost of consultancy services received against those works along with date of start and completion or expected date of completion. A certificate / affidavit that the firm is not blacklisted by any Govt. / Authorities Body. Audited statements of accounts for the last three (3) years. Any other information, firm like to provide. LDA reserves the right to reject one or all the proposals without assigning any reason. The application must reach in the office of the Chief Engineer, LDA on 14-10-2013 by 03:00pm.
